NOTICE OF REVOCATION Case No. 94-28-JC John P. Doerr, P-12832, Grand Rapids, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Kent County Hearing Panel #3.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective February 14, 1994. On December 31, 1987, respondent was convicted in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, by jury verdict, of two counts of conspiracy to travel and use facilities in interstate commerce to promote an illegal business involving prostitution and conspiracy to impede the governmental functions of the IRS in violation of 18 USC 371. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended effective December 31, 1987 the date of the felony conviction.

Upon the filing of the judgment of conviction by the Grievance Administrator on February 11, 1994, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing the respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. On June 6, 1994, the panel entered an order revoking respondent's license effective February 14, 1994, the date the Attorney Discipline Board issued its Notice of Automatic Interim Suspension.

Costs were assessed in the amount of $275.67. NOTE: The Notice of Automatic Interim Suspension issued on February 14, 1994 contains an incorrect effective date of February 24, 1988.
