NOTICE OF REPRIMAND WITH CONDITION Case No. 93-124-GA Gregory K. Jackson, P-24638, Southfield, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #53.

1) Reprimand; 2) Effective January 26, 1994. Respondent was retained to represent a client in civil litigation. He admitted that he failed to institute proceedings on his client's behalf despite repeated promises to do so; failed to promptly comply with his client's request for the return of his client file; failed to keep in adequate communication with his client by failing to respond to inquiries or to keep his client advised of the status of the matter; and failed to answer the request for investigation.

Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.104(1)-(4)and(7); MCR 9.113(A); MCR 9.113(B)(2); and the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct, 1.1(b)and(c); 1.3; 1.4; 3.2; 8.1(b) and 8.4(a)and(c).

The panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and practice under the supervision of another attorney for a period of ninety days. Costs were assessed in the amount of $139.92.
