NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case No. 91-233-GA Harvey Zameck, P-22687, Southfield, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #68.
1) Reprimand; 2) Effective November 6, 1993. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission.
Respondent pled nolo contendere to allegations that in 1986 he loaned $2,500 to a client, thereby giving an advance to a client which was not an expense of litigation, in violation of MCR 9.104(4) and DR 5-103(B); and that he maintained in his client trust account monies in excess of funds reasonably sufficient to pay bank charges and which were not client trust monies, in violation of MCR 9.104(4) and DR 9-102(A)(1).
Costs were assessed in the amount of $708.54.
