NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (With Conditions)
Case No. 93-5-GA George L. Shillaire, III, P-30078, Scottsdale, Arizona (formerly of Southfield, Michigan), by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #62.
1) Suspension - two years; 2) Effective October 21, 1993. The hearing panel found that respondent engaged in offensive, intemperate and undignified conduct with respect to three female divorce clients; and improperly handled one of those client's funds by not depositing them in a client trust account.
Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct, 1.15(a)-(c).
The panel ordered that respondent's license be suspended for two years, with the following conditions: Prior to reinstatement, respondent must undergo review and approval by the Character and Fitness Committee of the State Bar of Michigan; and, in connection with the Character and Fitness review, he must submit to a psychiatric or psychological evaluation.
Costs were assessed in the amount of $2555.98.
