1) Suspension - 30 days; 2) Effective February 5, 1993. Respondent entered a plea of nolo contendere to one count of Retail Fraud 2nd Degree, a misdemeanor, in the 62-B District Court on August 13, 1992. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(3), upon the filing of the Judgment of Conviction the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. On January 14, 1993, Kent County Hearing Panel #1 entered its order suspending respondent's license to practice law in Michigan for a period of 30 days effective February 5, 1993. Costs were assessed in the amount of $293.13.
