NOTICE OF REVOCATION (By Consent)
Case No. 92-264-JC Dennis J. Simon, P20496, Coral Springs, Florida (formerly of Oakland County, Michigan) by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #76.
1) Revocation; 2) Effective September 11, 1992. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115 (F)(5), which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission. Respondent pled nolo contendere to the misconduct set forth in the Judgment of Conviction.
Respondent pled guilty to one count of mail Fraud in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on September 11, 1992, the date of the felony conviction. On December 3, 1992, Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #76 entered an order revoking respondent's license (by consent) effective September 11, 1992. Costs were assessed in the amount of $10.08.
