NOTICE OF REVOCATION (By Consent) Case No. 92-148-JC

James J. Fehrman, P36124, Kingsley, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Wexford County Hearing Panel.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective June 9, 1992. Respondent was convicted in the 46th Judicial Circuit Court, State of Michigan, of one count of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree in violation of MCL 750.520(B)(1)(e); MSA 28.788(2), one count of criminal sexual conduct in the second degree in violation of MCL 750.520(C)(1)(e); MSA 28.788(3)(1)(e), and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony in violation of MCL 750.227(b); MSA 28.424(2). In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on June 9, 1992, the date of the felony conviction.

The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115 (F)(5) which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission. On August 10, 1992, the hearing panel entered an order revoking respondent's license to practice law in Michigan effective June 9, 1992. Respondent may not file a petition for reinstatement until he is released from state custody. Costs were assessed in the amount of $101.04.
