NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

Case No. 91-119-GA Douglass K. Fischer, P13451, Westland, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #13.

1) Suspension - thirty (30) days; 2) Effective February 19, 1992. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115 (F)(5) which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission. Respondent offered his plea of nolo contendere to the allegations contained in Count Two of the Formal Complaint. Counts One and Three through Six were dismissed by stipulation.

Respondent pled nolo contendere to the charge that, as the defendant in a divorce action, he filed an appeal which the Michigan Court of Appeals found to be vexatious.

Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4); the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct, 3.1; 3.3; 4.4; 8.4; and Canons 1 and 7 of the then-applicable Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1-6); DR 7-102(A)(1-5); DR 7-106(C)(7). Costs were assessed in the amount of $332.39.
