1) Revocation; 2) Effective November 6, 1991. Respondent failed to answer the formal complaint and failed to appear at the hearing held in Grand Rapids on September 10, 1991. Respondent's default was entered and the panel determined that the default established the allegations of formal complaint 91-137-GA. Formal complaint 91-162-FA was dismissed without prejudice.
Respondent was suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for a period of two years commencing July 24, 1990, and for a period of three years commencing December 7, 1990. In violation of those orders of suspension, respondent failed to make the restitution required by the orders, failed to file affidavits of compliance and failed to pay costs assessed against her. Respondent also failed to answer a request for investigation.
Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104 (1-4,7,9); MCR 9.119(C); MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.113(B)(2); and the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct, 8.1(b); 8.4(a,c). Costs were assessed in the amount of $170.78.
