NOTICE OF REVOCATION BY RESIGNATION PURSUANT TO MCR 9.115(M)
Case No. 91-249-JC Russell G. Slade, P-24726, Ironwood and Carrollton, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Saginaw County Hearing Panel.
1) Revocation; 2) Effective October 21, 1991. Respondent pled guilty in the Gogebic County Circuit Court to one count of Obtaining Money by False Pretenses in violation of MCR 750.218, 750.218-B. In accordance with MCR 9.120(A)(1) [now MCR 9.120(B)(1)], respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on October 21, 1991, the date of the felony conviction.
At the hearing held in Saginaw on April 19, 1993, respondent offered his resignation by way of revocation of his license to practice law pursuant to MCR 9.115(M). The effective date of the revocation is retroactive to October 21, 1991, the date of respondent's automatic interim suspension. Costs were assessed in the amount $343.39.
NOTE: Respondent's license to practice law in Michigan has been continuously suspended since July 30, 1990, pursuant to MCR 9.128 for non-payment of costs assessed in Case No. ADB 95-89. Respondent was also suspended for a period of three years effective October 22, 1991 in Case No. ADB 150-89.
