NOTICE OF REVOCATION Case Nos. 90-166-GA; 90-181-FA Douglas P. Parrish, P27431, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #64.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective May 11, 1991. Respondent failed to answer the formal complaints and failed to appear at the hearings held in Bloomfield Hills on January 21, 1991 and February 18, 1991. Respondent's defaults were entered and the panel determined that the defaults established the allegations of the formal complaints.

Respondent was retained to represent an individual in an action against her former employer, but failed to act with reasonable diligence, failed to respond to his client's inquiries, failed to notify his client of his suspension from the practice of law, entered into a loan transaction with his client which constituted a conflict of interest, and failed to answer a request for investigation.

Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104 (1-4); MCR 9.113(B)(2); MCR 9.119(A,B); Canons 1, 6 and 7 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1,5,6); DR 6-101 (A)(3); DR 7-101(A)(1-3); and the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct, 1.1(c); 1.3; 1.4; 1.8(a); 8.4(a,c). The panel considered respondent's previous 120-day suspension. Costs were assessed in the amount of $246.38.
