1) Suspension - six (6) months; 2) Effective February 26, 1991. The hearing panel found that the allegations of the formal complaint were established by a preponderance of the evidence. Respondent has been continuously suspended from the practice of law in Michigan since July 25, 1988. In February, 1990, the respondent identified himself to a police officer as an attorney, thereby violating the previous orders of suspension. Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-5,8,9); MCL 600.916, MSA 27A.916; and Rules 5.5(a) and 8.4(a-c) of the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $825.35.
