1) Revocation; 2) Effective January 31, 1991. Respondent entered his plea of guilty in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan to three counts of bank robbery in violation of 18 USC 2113(a). In accordance with MCR 9.120(A)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on January 31, 1991, the date of conviction.
Upon the filing of the judgment of conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing the respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. On July 10, 1991, Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #8 entered an order revoking respondent's license to practice law in Michigan effective January 31, 1991, the date of the automatic suspension. Costs were assessed in the amount of $88.54.
