1) Revocation; 2) Effective January 25, 1991. Respondent entered his plea of guilty in Oakland County Circuit Court to one count of first degree Criminal Sexual Conduct in violation of MCL 750-520(B)(1)(a). In accordance with MCR 9.120 (A)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on January 25, 1991, the date of conviction.
Upon the filing of the Judgment of Conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing the respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. On May 24, 1991, Tri-County Hearing Panel #66 entered an order revoking respondent's license to practice law in Michigan effective January 25, 1991, the date of conviction. Costs were assessed in the amount of $188.76.
