1) Suspension - two (2) years; 2) Effective December 10, 1990. Respondent entered his plea of guilty in the 37th Circuit Court, Calhoun County, Michigan to possession of less than 25 grams of cocaine in violation of MCL 333.7403(2)(a)(v). In accordance with MCR 9.120(A)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on December 10, 1990, the date of conviction.
Upon the filing of the judgment of conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. On September 10, 1991, Ingham County Hearing Panel #6 entered its order suspending respondent's license to practice law in Michigan for a period of two years effective December 10, 1990. Costs were assessed in the amount of $144.62.
