1) Revocation; 2) Effective June 29, 1990. Respondent was convicted in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan of two counts of mail fraud in violation of 18:USC:1341 and three counts of interstate transportation of stolen money in violation of 18:USC:2314. In accordance with MCR 9.120(A), the respondent's license to practice law in the State of Michigan was automatically suspended on June 29, 1990, date of conviction.
Upon the filing of the judgment of conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing the respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered.
In an order dated November 5, 1990, Attorney Discipline Board Cheboygan County Hearing Panel #2 ordered that the respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be revoked. Costs were assessed in the amount of $353.71.
