NOTICE OF SUSPENSION ADB 235-88 James R. Bandy, P-28790, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board affirming a hearing panel order of suspension.
1) Suspension - thirty days; 2) Effective April 24, 1990. Attorney Discipline Board Macomb County Hearing Panel #2 found that the respondent failed to answer a request for investigation in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4,7); MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.113(B)(2) and Canon 1 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A) (1,5,6). The respondent filed a petition for review seeking reduction of the discipline imposed. In an order dated July 31, 1989, the Attorney Discipline Board affirmed, by majority, the hearing panel order of suspension. Respondent subsequently filed an application for leave to appeal with the Michigan Supreme Court. In an order dated April 24, 1990, the Michigan Supreme Court denied the respondent's application for leave to appeal. Costs were assessed in the amount $589.46.
