NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 90-73-JC Charles M. Few, P27764, Detroit, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #17.

1) Suspension - 42 months; 2) Effective February 12, 1990. Respondent entered a plea of no contest in the Macomb County Circuit Court to the charge of controlled substance delivery/ manufacturing less than fifty grams in violation of MCL 333-7401(2) (A)(IV). In accordance with MCR 9.120(A)(1), the respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on February 12, 1990, the date his no contest plea was accepted.

Upon the filing of the judgment of conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing the respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. On July 26, 1990, Tri-County Hearing Panel #17 entered an order suspending respondent's license for a period of 42 months effective February 12, 1990. Costs were assessed in the amount of $338.60.

Respondent filed a petition for review seeking a decrease in the discipline imposed. In an order dated May 21, 1991, the Attorney Discipline Board dismissed the petition for review without prejudice for respondent's failure to comply with an order of the Board.

NOTE: The Notice of Automatic Interim Suspension issued on April 20, 1990 gives an incorrect effective date of Mach 23, 1990. March 23, 1990 was the date of sentencing not the date of conviction. The correct effective date is February 12, 1990.
