NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)
ADB 116-89 Peter Dozorc, P-12934, Clarkston, Michigan by Attorney Discipline Board Oakland County Hearing Panel #32.
1) Suspension - thirty days; 2) Effective January 9, 1990. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a Stipulation for Consent Order of Discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission.
The respondent admitted that he failed to decline employment by a client named as a material witness in a criminal matter in which the respondent represented the defendant and he admitted making a misleading statement to the Attorney Grievance Commission in his answer to a Request for Investigation.
Respondent's conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4,6); MCR 9.113(A) and Canons 1, 2, 5 and 7 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1,4-6); DR 2-110(B)(2); DR 5-101(A); DR 5-105(A); DR 7-102(A)(8) and DR 7-104(A)(2). Costs were assessed in the amount of $51.70.
