NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

Case No. 90-28-JC C. Hugh Fletcher, P13521, Mount Juliet, Tennessee, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #32.

1) Suspension - three (3) years and one (1) day; 2) Effective January 8, 1990. Respondent was convicted in the United States District Court, District of Connecticut, of conspiracy to defraud the United States Government; impede and impair the Internal Revenue Service in violation of 18 USC 371. In accordance with MCR 9.120(A), respondent's license to practice law was automatically suspended on January 8, 1990, the date of conviction.

Upon the filing of the judgment of conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission. On June 10, 1991, the hearing panel entered its order suspending respondent's license to practice law in Michigan for a period of three years and one day effective January 8, 1990. Costs were assessed in the amount of $485.15.
