NOTICE OF REVOCATION Case No. 90-51-RD Paul A. Gruber, Bethlehem, New Hampshire, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #4.

1) Revocation; 2) Effective January 8, 1990. The Grievance Administrator filed a petition for order to show cause seeking a reciprocal order of discipline based upon a January 8, 1990 order of the New Hampshire Supreme Court disbarring the respondent from the practice of law in that state. Respondent was found guilty on July 2, 1987 of theft by deception; his conviction was affirmed by the New Hampshire Supreme Court on August 8, 1989. Respondent failed to answer the New Hampshire petition for disbarment based on that conviction.

In accordance with MCR 9.104, proof of the adjudication of misconduct in the disciplinary proceedings in New Hampshire was deemed to constitute conclusive proof of misconduct in proceedings conducted in Michigan. Respondent failed to file pleadings and failed to appear at a hearing held in Detroit on May 8, 1990 pursuant to an order directing the respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. Costs were assessed in the amount of $80.00.
