NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)
Case No. 18-31-MZ (Ref. 16-10-JC; 16-129-MZ) Notice Issued: September 19,2018 Teriann Marie Schmidt, P 67497, Harrison Township, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #68.
Suspension - 30 Days, Effective September 18, 2018 On March 15, 2018, the Grievance Administrator filed a petition for an order to show cause why discipline should not be increased to a 180-day suspension for respondent's alleged failure to comply with one or more of the conditions set forth in the panel's July 11, 2017 order. Based upon admissions made by respondent in her response to the petition for order to show cause, the panel found that respondent violated the panel's prior orders issued April 6, 2016 and July 11, 2017, and therefore engaged in misconduct in violation of MCR 9.104(9).
In accordance with a stipulation filed by the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 30 days and that she be subject to the previously imposed con ition until April ?j3' 2? 9. Costs were assessed in the amount of $756.96.
