NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)
ADB 37-89; 48-89 John J. Goldpaugh, P-30758; Birmingham, MI by Attorney Discipline Board Oakland County Hearing Panel #31.
1) Suspension - forty-five days; 2) Effective December 22, 1989. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a Stipulation for Consent Order of Discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission. The respondent admitted that he failed to answer a Request for Investigation served June 14, 1988 and a formal complaint served February 22, 1989, in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4,7); MCR 9.103(C); MCR 9.113(B)(2) and Canon 1 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1,5,6). The parties further stipulated that the forty-five day suspension should run concurrently with a suspension of thirty days imposed by the Attorney Discipline Board in a unrelated disciplinary matter.
