1) Revocation; 2) Effective July 7, 1989. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission.
The respondent entered a plea of guilty in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan to conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute cocaine in violation of 21:USC:846, 21:USC:841(a), 21:USC:812 and 18:USC:2.
In accordance with MCR 9.120(A), the respondent's license to practice law was automatically suspended on July 7, 1989, the date of conviction. In an order dated January 10, 1990, the hearing panel ordered revocation of the respondent's license to practice law. Costs were assessed in the amount of $32.79.
