NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

1) Reprimand; 2) Effective June 15, 1989. The hearing panel accepted a stipulation for consent order of discipline filed in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) in which Respondent offered her plea of nolo contendere to Count I of the Formal Complaint. Respondent petitioned the Wayne County Probate Court to commence supervised probate proceedings but failed to file accountings, take timely action after receipt of Notices of Omission, and close the estate and distribute the assets pursuant to the terms of the will. Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4), and Canons 1, 6 and 7 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1,5,6); DR 6-101(A)(3); and DR 7-101(A)(1-3). Costs were assessed in the amount of $63.40.
