NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

1) Suspension - thirty (30) days; 2) Effective May 1, 1989. The Grievance Administrator and the respondent entered into a stipulation for consent order of discipline which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and a hearing panel in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). Respondent engaged in the practice of law with his brother Ernest L. Citron from December 1958 to March 1987 under the name "Citron and Citron," and continuously shared office space, letterhead and bank accounts with his brother. Ernest L. Citron was suspended from the practice of law from October 22, 1981 to June 3, 1983, and his license was revoked effective July 18, 1984. Respondent continued to practice under the assumed name "Citron and Citron" and failed to prevent Ernest L. Citron from engaging in the unauthorized practice of law. Respondent also failed to timely answer the Formal Complaints. Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4,7) and Canons 1, 2 and 3 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A) (4-6); DR 2-102(B,C); and DR 3-101(A). Costs were assessed in the amount of $512.35.
