NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

1) Suspension - one year; 2) Effective March 6, 1989. Respondent was convicted September 26, 1988 in the Cheboygan County Circuit Court of a violation of MCL 750.520(e)(1)(a) (criminal sexual conduct--fourth degree). Respondent was sentenced to 365 days in jail beginning March 6, 1989, payment of fines and costs and two years probation. The Attorney Grievance Commission and the hearing panel approved a stipulation for consent order of discipline filed in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The respondent and the Grievance Administrator agreed that respondent's license to practice law in Michigan should be suspended for one year, effective March 6, 1989 and until the completion of reinstatement proceedings. Costs were assessed in the amount of $10.30.
