NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

1) Reprimand; 2) Effective March 1, 1989. The Attorney Grievance Commission and the hearing panel approved a stipulation for consent order of discipline submitted in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The respondent offered his plea of no contest to charges that he failed to respond to the inquiries of his client regarding the status of certain collection matters and he failed to return the client#s documents although requested to do so. Misconduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4) and Canons 1, 6, 7 and 9 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1,5,6); DR 6-101(A)(3); DR 7-101(A)(1-3) and DR 9-102(B)(4). Costs were assessed in the amount of $ 79.16.
