NOTICE OF SUSPENSION ADB 57-89 John A. Agnew, P-27208, Royal Oak, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board affirming a hearing panel order of suspension.

1) Suspension - 119 days; 2) Effective February 8, 1989. Respondent was convicted in the Oakland County Circuit on February 8, 1989 of two counts of malicious destruction of property over $100.00 in violation of MCLA 750.377A-A and one count of malicious destruction of a building over $100.00 in violation of MCLA 750.380-A. In accordance with MCR 9.120(A), Respondent's license was automatically suspended on February 8, 1989, the date of conviction.

Upon the filing of the Judgment of Conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board entered an order directing the respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered.

In an order dated June 21, 1989, Wayne County Hearing Panel #9 entered an order suspending the respondent#s license to practice law for a period of 119 days, retroactive to the date of conviction. The Grievance Administrator filed a petition for review seeking an increase in discipline. In an order dated September 14, 1989, the Attorney Discipline Board affirmed the decision of the hearing panel. Costs were assessed in the amount of $142.75.
