1) Revocation; 2) Effective April 10, 1989. Respondent was convicted in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan of mail fraud in violation of 18 USC 1341, and false Social Security number information in violation of 42 USC 408(g)(2). In accordance with MCR 9.120(A), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on April 10, 1989, the date of conviction.
The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115 (F)(5) which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission. In an order dated February 4, 1991, the hearing panel ordered revocation of the respondent's license to practice law in Michigan. Costs were assessed in the amount of $171.00.
