1) Reprimand; 2) Effective December 24, 1988. Based upon the evidence presented at a hearing conducted in accordance with MCR 9.115, the hearing panel concluded that the respondent's failure to institute bankruptcy proceedings on behalf of a client and his failure to file a sufficient answer to the client's Request for Investigation constituted professional misconduct in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4,7) and Canons 1, 6 and 7 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1,5,6); DR 6-101(A)(3) and DR 7-101(A)(1-3). Costs were assessed in the amount of $361.20.
