NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

1) Reprimand; 2) Effective December 15, 1988. The Respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a Stipulation for Consent Order of Discipline approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and a hearing panel in accordance with MCR 9.115(F) (5). Respondent pled nolo contendere to the charge that he gave his client a check in the amount of $500 drawn upon his client's trust account at a time when no funds were on deposit in that account belonging to that client. Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(2-4); and Canons 1 and 9 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(5- 6); and DR 9-102(A). Costs were assessed in the amount of $184.70.
