NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

1) Suspension - 121 days; 2) Effective September 1, 1988. In a Stipulation for Consent Discipline, the respondent offered a plea of no contest to the charges in a formal complaint that he violated a previous order of suspension by failing to notify his clients of the suspension, accepting new clients, preparing pleadings and appearing as an attorney during the period of suspension. Respondent's conduct was deemed to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4); MCR 9.119 and Canons 1 and 3 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(4-6) and DR 3-101(B).
The Stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and a hearing Panel. Costs were assessed in the amount of $48.80.
