Respondent failed to maintain client funds in trust for his client; failed to pay to his client funds received on her behalf, despite having been requested to do so by her for approximately one year; and misappropriated his client's funds to his own use. Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1-4) and Canons 1 and 9 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, DR 1-102(A)(1)(3-6); DR 9-102(A) and DR 9-102(B)(1, 3 and 4). Costs were assessed in the amount of $936.75.
