1) Suspension - five years; 2) Effective August 1, 1988. A judgment of conviction was entered on January 25, 1989 in the 20th Judicial Circuit for Charlotte County, Florida upon the acceptance of the respondent's plea of nolo contendere to charges of the sale and possession of cocaine in violation of Florida Statute 893.13.
The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the hearing panel and the Attorney Grievance Commission, agreeing to the suspension of the respondent's license to practice law in Michigan for a period of five years effective August 1, 1988. Costs were assessed in the amount of $85.22.
