Respondent was r e t a ined by a c l i e n t t o i n s t i t u t e c o l l e c t i o n proceedings a g a i n s t f o u r d e b t o r s , bu t he f a i l e d t o t a k e a c t i o n on h i s c l i e n t ' s behalf and f a i l e d t o communicate wi th h i s c l i e n t . Respondent subsequent ly made f a l s e s ta tements t o t h e c l i e n t and t o t h e Grievance Administrator regard ing t h e na tu re of h i s r e t e n t i o n i n t hose c a s e s . The p a n e l found t h a t R e s p o n d e n t ' s c l i e n t o b t a i n e d a judgment a g a i n s t him but t h a t he f a i l e d t o comply with va r ious pos t judgment o r d e r s , gave f a l s e information a t a deb to r ' s examination and v i o l a t e d t h e p r o v i s i o n s of a n o r d e r o f contempt . The p a n e l a l s o found t h a t t h e Respondent gave f a l s e answers t o a Request f o r I n v e s t i g a t i o n f i l e d by another c l i e n t and f a i l e d t o answer two Formal Complaints. Respondent ' s conduct w a s found t o be i n v i o l a t i o n of MCR 9.104(1-4,6); MCR 9.113(A); and Canons 1, 6 and 7 o f t h e Code of P r o f e s s i o n a l R e s p o n s i b i l i t y , DR 1-102(A)(1,4-6); DR 6-103(A)(3) and DR 7-101(A)(l-3). Costs were a s se s sed i n t h e amount of $559.82.
