NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

Case No. 21-60-GA Notice Issued: January 7, 2022 Richard J. Corriveau, P 25901, Northville, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #27

Reprimand, Effective January 7, 2022 Respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a Stipulation for Consent Order of Discipline, pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5), that was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Based upon respondent’s admissions as set forth in the parties’ stipulation, the panel found that respondent committed professional misconduct as a result of his dual contemporaneous representation of the father in a domestic relations matter and the son in a juvenile delinquency matter.

Specifically, and in accordance with the parties’ stipulation, the panel found that respondent represented a client where the representation may have been materially limited by his responsibilities to another client, in violation of MRPC 1.7(b).

In accordance with the stipulation of the parties, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $853.25.
