The Respondent, represented by counsel , en te red i n t o a S t i p u l a t i o n f o r Consent Order wi th the Grievance Adminis t r a t o r i n d i s c i p l i n a r y proceedings involving two (2) Formal Complaints consol idated f o r hear ing . By the terms of t h a t S t i p u l a t i o n , the Respondent admit ted a l l of the a l l e g a t i o n s contained i n those Complaints, to w i t : t h a t Respondent was re t a ined i n December 1983 to f i l e a P e t i t i o n f o r Rehearing i n a mat te r before t h e Michigan Employment S e c u r i t y Commission b u t t h a t he f a i l e d t o take appropr i a t e a c t i o n t o f u r t h e r the l e g a l i n t e r e s t s of h i s c l i e n t and f a i l e d to communicate w i th her ; that Respondent f a i l e d to f i l e a t imely Answer to a Request f o r Inves t i g a t i o n and f a i l e d t o respond to the Grievance Adminstrator 's f u r t h e r a t tempts t o o b t a i n a f u l l and f a i r d i s c l o s u r e of the circumstances descr ibed i n t h a t Request f o r ~ n v e s t i ~ a t i o nan; d t h a t the Respondent f a i l e d to Answer a Formal Complaint f i l e d and served by the Grievance Administrator i n October 1985. The Respondent admitted t h a t h i s conduct descr ibed i n those Complaints cons t i tu ted v i o l a t i ons of MCR 9.104(A)(1-4)(7) and Canons 1 , 6 , & 7 of the Code of Profess iona l Respons ib i l i t y , DR 1-102(A)(5-6); DR 6-101(~)(1-3) and DR 7 - 1 0 1 ( ~ )( 1-3).

I n accordance wi th the s p e c i f i c terms contained i n t he S t i p u l a t i o n f i l e d by the p a r t i e s , the Hearing Panel entered a n Order placing the Respondent on probat ion f o r a per iod of two ( 2 ) years s u b j e c t to cond i t i ons which inc lude the f i l i n g of w r i t t e n q u a r t e r l y r e p o r t s concerning the supe rv i s ion of h i s law p r a c t i c e by a n o t h e r a t t o r n e y and t h e p r o g r e s s of c o n t i n u i n g m e d i c a l t reatment . Upon a showing by the Grievance Administrator t h a t the Respondent has committed p ro fe s s iona l misconduct during the period of probat ion, the Order of Probat ion w i l l be vacated and a One Year Suspension w i l l be imposed i n a d d i t i o n to any o t h e r d i s c i p l i n e imposed a s the r e s u l t of the subsequent misconduct. Costs were assessed i n the amountof $112.15.
