Respondent was suspended by a hear ing panel f o r f a i l - ure t o answer a reques t f o r i n v e s t i g a t i o n and f o r f a i l u r e t o answer two formal complaints. The subs tan t ive misconduct counts were d i s - missed because the-complainant f a i l e d t o appear a t t h e hearing.
Upon Respondent's p e t i t i o n f o r review t h e Board modi- f i e d t h e d i s c i p l i n e t o a Reprimand. In i t s opinion, t h e Board noted t h a t Respondent made ve rba l con tac t with Counsel f o r t h e Grievance Administrator i n an at tempt t o address t h e complaints; while t h i s does not c o n s t i t u t e a proper answer a s requi red by t h e cour t r u l e s it was considered i n mi t iga t ion by t h e Board. The Board a l s o considered a s mi t iga t ion t h a t Respondent had no record of d i s c i p l i n e .
