WILLIAMS (P22357), 17405 Lahser, Su i t e 203, Detroi t , M I 48219, by Attorney Discipline Board Wayne Circuit Hearing Panel "M", (1 ) Reprimand; (2 ) Effect ive October 14, 1980.

The Formal Complaint charges t h a t Respondent was retained t o pursue a personal in ju ry claim, t h a t Respondent led his c l i e n t t o believe t h a t a claim had been f i l e d when no suit had i n f a c t been f i l e d . The Complaint a1 so charges t h a t Respondent f a i 1 e d t o answer t h e Grievance Administrator 's Request f o r Invest igat ion, s a id conduct being i n v io la t ion of Canons 1 , 6 and 7 of the Code of Professional Responsibi 1i t y , DR 1-102 ( A ) (4-6), DR 6-101 (A) ( 3 ) , DR 7-101 (A) (2-3) and GCR 953 (1-4) and (7 ) . Regarding t h e personal in jury suit, the Hearing Panel found Respondent t o be i n v io la t ion of DR 1-102 (A) (6), DR 6-101 ( A ) ( 3 ) , DR 7-101 (A) (2 ) ( 3 ) and GCR 953 ( 4 ) , f o r misconduct involving f a i l u r e t o ca r ry out a con t rac t of employment, neglect of a legal matter entrus ted and conduct adversely r e f l ec t i ng on one's f i t n e s s t o p rac t ice law; however, the Panel found no conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, dece i t o r misre- presentation a s a l leged and no v io la t ion of GCR 953 (2-3). Regarding Count 11, t h e Panel found t h a t Respondent had viola ted GCR 953 f o r his f a i l u r e t o answer t he Request f o r Invest igat ion. Costs were assessed i n t he amount of $127.80. No appeal was taken by e i t h e r party.
