Respondent was charged i n the Formal Complaint f i l e d January 31, 1979; w i t h a v iola t ion of GCR 953 (1-5) , 969 and Canon 1 , DR 1-102 (A) (1 ) (3-6) pursuant t o his conviction i n t he United S t a t e s D i s t r i c t Court, Western D i s t r i c t of Michigan, f o r t he felony of knowingly and in ten t iona l ly and unlawfully a iding and abe t t ing i n the manufacture of methamphetamine, a Schedule I11 control led substance. Respondent's plea of gu i l t y t o a count of the Federal Indictment resu l ted i n a prison sentence of f i v e years and an Order of Disbarment by a Discipl ine Board Hearing Panel (subsequently affirmed by the Board); however, the U.S. Sixth C i r cu i t Court of Appeals having reversed t he sa id conviction and remanded t he matter f o r t r i a l , the Attorney Discipline Board issued an Order Vacating the Order of Disbarment on September 9, 1980.
