This is to inform the Courts of the State of Michigan of the following Order of Discipline :

NOTICE OF REVOCATION File No. DP-210180 MICHAEL A. THOhqAS, (P21382), 27359 Wescott Crescent Drive, Farmington H i l l s , M I 48018, by Attorney Discipline Board Wayne Circuit Hearing Panel "Pi'.

( 1) Revocation; ( 2 ) Effective (by retroactive order) January 28, 1980. The Formal Complaint charged: that Respondent was associated with another attorney, who was administrator of a probate es ta te , that funds of the estate were deposited in a special account, tha t , on three ( 3 ) separate occasions, Respondent unlawfully obtained the passbook of said account, and without t he administrator's authority or permission, subscribed the name of said administrator to withdrawal slips, and obtained cashier's checks in the amount of $6,000, $5,000, and $2,000 in violation of

Canon 1 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, to- wit: DR 1-102(A) (1) ( 3) (4) (5) ( 6 ) and CCR 953(1-4). The Complaint also charges that Respondent failed to answer t he Grievance Administrator's Request for Investigation in regard to the above transactions, in violation of GCR 962.1 and 953( 7).

In proceedings before the Hearing Panel, the Respondent entered a plea of nolo contendere to t he charges in the Complaint, and tendered his resignation, pursuant to GCR 964.13. The Panel considered a prior disci- pline of suspension of t h ree (3) years and one ( 1 ) day, which was effective January, 1980, and assessed costs in the amount of $63.
