Respondent was charged with f a i l u re t o comnence su i t for damages resul t ing from governmental condemnation o f a c l i en t ' s property and fa i lu re t o respond t o said c l ient 's request f o r in fomat ion regarding the status o f said cause o f action, constitut ing a v io la t ion o f Canon 1, DR 1-102 (A) (1) (4-6) , Canon 6, DR 6-101 (A) (3) and Canon 7, DR 7-101 (A) ( 1 3 ) . Respondent was also charged with a fa i l u re t o answer the Grievance Administrator's Request f o r Investigation required
by GCR 962.2 which constitutes separate grounds f o r discipl ine pursuant t o GCR 953 (7) .
The Hearing Panel determined that Respondent had received a retainer fo r services t o be rendered and the cost o f comnc ing l i t i g a t i o n and that Respondent fa i l ed to f i l e a complaint as promised, refusing to respond to numerous inquir ies o f the cl ient. The Panel found no violat ion o f DR 1-102 (A) ( I ) , but determined that Respondent had violated: Canon 1, DR 1-102 (4-6) by engaging i n conduct involving dishonesty o r misrepresentation, prejudic ia l to the adminis-
t ra t ion o f justice, and adversely re f lec t ing upon his f i tness to practice law, and Canon 6, DR 6-101 (A) (3), by neglect o f a legal matter, and Canon 7, DR 7-101 (A) (1-3). by f a i l i ng to seek the lawful objectives o f h i s c l ient , fa i lu re to carry out
a contract o f employment, and f o r prejudice and damage to the c l ien t i n the course o f the professional relationship.
