The Formal Complaint charged tha t Respondent while serving as prosecuting attorney for Genesee County was indicted by a Grand Jury f o r the United States Dis t r ic t Court fo r the Eastern Dis t r i c t of Michigan in a six-count indictment charging embezzlement of govern- ment property, fa1 s e statements, in te r -s ta te transportation of stolen property and f i l i n g f a l s e income tax returns, i n violation of 18 USC, ยง 641 , 1001, 2341 , and 26 USC, 7206(1) . The Complaint fur ther charged tha t Respondent was convicted, pursuant t o a jury finding, of f i 1 i ng fa1 se statements, embezzlement of $34,000, transportation of s tolen funds in in t e r - s t a t e commerce and the f i l i n g of f a l se income tax return, said criminal convictions being i n violation of the standards of professional conduct as prescribed by GCR 953. Respondent f i l e d a Pet i t ion for Review of the Panel decision of Disbarment. The Discipline Board affirmed the Panel decision.
