Disbarred, Effective January 4, 2018 In a reciprocal discipline proceeding under MCR 9.120(C), the Grievance Administratorfiled a certified copy of an order denying respondent's petition for review and disbarring respondent from the practice of law in California, entered by the Supreme Court of California on November 18,2015, In Re KENNETH LANCE HADDIX on Discipline.
An order regarding imposition of reciprocal discipline was served upon respondent on October 2,2017. The 21-day period referenced in MCR 9. 120(C)(2)(b) expired without objection by either party and the respondent was deemed to be in default. Based on that default, the Attorney Discipline Board ordered that respondent be disbarred from the practice of law in Michigan. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,542.10.
