Dismissal, Effective April 26, 2022 The formal complaint filed by the Grievance Administrator solely alleged that respondent committed professional misconduct when she failed to answer a request for investigation, in violation of MCR 9.104(7). After proceedings conducted pursuant to MCR 9.115, the hearing panel found that respondent was not culpable for her failure to receive a copy of the request for investigation and that the unexplained extreme delay that occurred between the Commission’s approval of the filing of a formal complaint and the actual filing of the formal complaint, warranted dismissal of the formal complaint.
