NOTICE OF SUSPENSION WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)

Case Nos. 17-73-AI; 17-88-JC Notice Issued: March 27, 2018 Scott William Neal, P 77306, Royal Oak, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri­ County Hearing Panel #68.

Suspension - One Year, Effective May 15, 2017.1 Respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a Stipulation for Consent Order of Discipline With Conditions, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F){5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. The stipulation contained respondent's admission that he was convicted in a matter titled People of the State of Michigan v Scott William Neal, Macomb County Circuit Court, Case No. 2017-000943-FH, of assault with a

dangerous weapon, a felony, in violation of MCl 750.82. Based on respondent's conviction and his admission in the stipulation, it has been established that respondent engaged in conduct that violated a criminal law of a state or of the United States, in violation of MCR 9.104(5).

The panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be suspended for a period of one year, and respondent 's subject to conditions relevant to the established misconduct. Costs werass in the am unt f $863.54.
