On December 5, 2016, respondent pled guilty and was convicted of embezzlement - agent or trustee, $1 ,000 to $20,000, a felony, in violation ofMCL 750. 174(4)(A). Upon respondent's guilty plea and subsequent conviction, in accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended.
This matter has been assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
