Eric Allan Buikema, P 58379, Troy, Michigan Effective October 6, 2016 On October 6, 2016, respondent entered a plea of No Contest to Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, 3rd offense, in violation of MCl 257.625, in the 6th Circuit Court. In accordance with MeR 9.120(B)(1), respondent's license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of his felony conviction.
Upon the filing of a judgment of conviction, this matter will be assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
