The Grievance Administrator has petitioned the Attorney Discipline Board for review of the order of reprimand entered in this matter by Tri-County Hearing Panel #25 on August 31, 2012, and respondent has filed a cross-petition. The Board has conducted review proceedings in accordance with MCR 9.118 which included a review of the record before the hearing panel and consideration of the briefs and arguments submitted by the parties, and the Board is otherwise fully advised;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that, for the reasons set forth in the attached opinion, discipline in this case is increased from a reprimand to a SUSPENSION OF RESPONDENT'S LICENSE TO PRACTICE LAW IN MICHIGAN FOR 30 DAYS, with credit given for the 30 day suspension served by respondent between January 1, 2012, and February 7,2012, which was ordered in Grievance Administrator v Michael L. Stefani, Case No. 09-47-GA.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the effective date of this order is March 22, 2013. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that respondent shall, on or before March 22, 2013, pay costs incurred by the Board for the transcript of the review proceedings conducted on November 29, 2012, in the amount of $173.00. Costs may be paid by check or money order made payable to the State Bar of Michigan but submitted to the Attorney Discipline Board, 211 West Fort St., Ste. 1410, Detroit, MI 48226, for proper crediting.
